Fruit of Her Hands: Day Thirteen

Proverbs 31:22

[22] She makes bed coverings for herself;

her clothing is fine linen and purple.

Prayer Point

Come before the Lord's throne boldly today and ask that He continues to making abounding provisions for you and your family. Pray also that He would help you truly trust Him to do so. Pray that the Holy Spirit would help you root how you adorn yourself and your home in this truth; that you have a faithful provider in your Heavenly Father.

Application

The virtuous woman makes clothing of high quality, nice materials. Her home and herself reflect the reality that her husband and her God provide for her. "Fine linen" and "purple" will look different for each woman and each home. But one thing you can do today is survey how well you adorn yourself and your home. Then make an effort to "clothe" you and your home with the best of the best! Get dressed today, do your hair, wear something other than the sweats or leggings and a t-shirt. Bring fresh flowers into the home or light a candle while your family is sitting down for dinner. Clothing yourself and your home in fine linen and purple doesn't always require a swipe of the credit card. Get creative with what you have. There's something really powerful about applying the truth that we are well taken care of by the Lord to the way we dress ourselves and adorn our homes.
